American Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, 1977
Most of the prose versions of the Psalms in Rejoice and Sing, for responsive reading or singing to "Anglican" chants or Gregorian "Tones", are taken from this version. In general the translations use "inclusive language'; a very small number of further changes were made with this aim by the Compilers of R.& S. The following Psalms are included (verse numbers corresponding to the Authorised Version translation; the verses are renumbered in R.& S.).
