(GDM)
There are several editions of D.G.Corner's Gesängbucher; GDM states that the initial collection went through successive revisions, with a change of name in the 3rd (1649) edition; but other Companions imply that the 1649 Geistliche Nachtigal was a separate collection. The following list of editions and contents is taken from GDM.
(a) Gross Catholische Gesängbuch. Fürth, Nürnberg, 1625
Contained 400 hymns (330 German, 70 Latin). Sources included
(b) Gross Catholische Gesängbuch, Nürnberg, 1631

(c) Geistliche Nachtigal der Catholischen Teutschen, Vienna 1648/49
Contained 363 hymns and 181 melodies (including 42 Latin hymns). In this edition some items are identified with the initials D.G.C.
After Corner's death (Jan.1648) posthumous editions of the Nachtigal were published in 1658, 1674 and 1676.
