Psalms, Hymns and Passages of Scripture for Christian Worship. Compiled by The Congregational Ministers of Leeds, 1853
The five ministers involved were H.Robert Reynolds, William Hudswell, G.W.Conder, William Guest, and J.H.Morgan. The first names or initials here given are taken from the Year Book of the Congregational Union of England and Wales for 1853; they differ in part from those given in Julian, p.259.
The book has become known as The Leeds Hymn Book, though that was not its published title.
