These recordings were made at Annual Conferences of the Hymn Society GBI from 1963 to 1990. The following descriptive list may serve as a quick Index to Conference topics, events, venues, and individuals taking part. If your Browser has a Search facility, it should be possible to invoke it by selecting "Edit | Find" or "Edit | Find in Top Window" and entering any name, word or phrase.

The "HSB" reference after each date and venue is to the issue of the Bulletin of the Hymn Society of Great Britain and Ireland (Volume.Part; #Issue number, Page within Volume) which contains a Report of the Conference contributed by a member present at it. Other Bulletin references are to the texts or scripts of lectures &c. reprinted in the Bulletin; in many cases these have been edited for publication, and are not necessarily verbatim reports of the event.
